Today on our 2007 Pontiac G6, well be test fitting the Thule hitching post pro, part number th934xtr. A quick note on this bike rack if using on a class I hitch you are limited to two bikes. Now to begin our test fit weve already removed the included adapter for the two inch shank, so were ready to fit it to the vehicle. Well begin by sliding our bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight our bike rack is secured to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you some clearance measurements, our ground clearance at the bike rack is 6-1/4 inches and from the closet part of the bike rack here at the mast to the back of the vehicle is 5-3/4 inches. more

A few things to know about this bike rack that it will work with 1-1/4-inch receiver hitches both class 1 and class 2. However, if youre using this with a class 1 receiver hitch, its limited to carrying just two bicycles. Now, this will also work 2-inch receiver hitches with the included spacer. On this particular vehicle, well be working with class 2 1-1/4-inch receiver hitch. Well start off our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch and well make sure that the integrated hitch pin matches into the hitch pinhole. more

All right, today on 2008 Pontiac Vibe were going to do a ofest fit a part number RG8015220 from Rhode Gear, this is the highway 2 bike carrier. Well start test it fit off by installing the bike rack into the hitch. Well tighten it down the anti-rattle bolt and put the safety pin on the other side.Now go ahead and get a couple of clearance measurements. On that post to the bumper of the car as closest point will be 8". Okay, our ground clearance will be 9-". Now, we'll go ahead and tilt the bike rack back and show access to the back of the vehicle.All right, at this point well go ahead and load up the bike. more

One thing about this bike rack is that it will work of 1-1/4" receiver hitches both class I and class II however of class I you're unlimited to two bikes. This will also work with 2" receiver hitches with the provided spacer.Well go ahead and start off our install by installing the bike rack into the hitch and tighten it down the anti-rattle bolt. Next, we'll give you some clearance measurements. Between the bike rack and the bumper at a closest point will be 5, ground clearance is a 9-1/2. Okay were going to go ahead and tilt the bike rack back using the hitch switch at the bottom and show access to the back of the vehicle.Now, well go ahead and unfold the bike rack using the switch on the top. more
